Election Booth Agent Monitor (“EBAM”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is an internal election monitoring Android application designed for authorised election officials and booth agents to record and monitor hourly voter turnout data on election day.
1. Information We Collect
The app collects the following information strictly for authorised users:
- Personal information: Name and mobile phone number
- Account information: Username and assigned role
- Operational data: Booth, ward, and constituency assignment
- Election data: Hourly voter turnout and summary statistics
2. Purpose of Data Collection
All collected data is used solely for:
- User authentication and access control
- Assigning users to election booths and wards
- Recording and displaying voter turnout data
- Administrative monitoring and reporting
Data is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or tracking.
3. Data Storage and Security
- All data is transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections
- Data is stored on secure servers managed by the EBAM system
- Access is limited to authorised election administrators
4. Data Sharing
EBAM does not share user data with third parties, advertisers, analytics providers, or external organisations.
5. Data Retention
Data is retained only for the duration required for election operations, verification, and legally required administrative purposes.
6. User Rights and Data Deletion
Users may request correction or deletion of their account data by contacting the administrator or via the account deletion process described below. Details are available on the Account Deletion page linked in the Google Play Store listing.
7. Children’s Privacy
EBAM is not intended for children under 13 years of age. Only authorised election personnel are permitted to use this application.
